Biography
Ali Amin Gandapur is a Pakistani politician serving as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since March 2024. He is a senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and hails from the Dera Ismail Khan district of the province.
Political career
Gandapur first came to national prominence when he was elected to the National Assembly in 2013 on a PTI ticket. He served as Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan in Imran Khan's government (2018-2022), and was also appointed as an adviser on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Known for his blunt, outspoken style, he became one of the PTI's most recognisable provincial leaders.
