Biography
Ali Larijani, born on June 6, 1957, in Arak, Iran, is a prominent Iranian conservative politician. He served as Speaker of the Iranian Parliament from 2008 to 2020 and was Iran's chief nuclear negotiator from 2005 to 2007. He holds a PhD in philosophy from Moscow State University. Larijani has been a key figure in Iran's conservative political establishment and has been involved in various political and security positions. He ran for president in 2021 and has been considered a potential presidential candidate. His brother Sadegh Larijani was head of the judiciary.
