Amr Diab is an Egyptian singer and songwriter born in 1961 in Port Said. He is one of the best-selling Middle Eastern artists of all time, with over 100 million records sold worldwide. Known for his fusion of Arabic music with Western pop and electronic influences, Diab has won numerous World Music Awards and has been called the 'Father of Mediterranean Music.'
