Hisham Geneina is an Egyptian politician who served as the head of the Central Auditing Organization from 2012 to 2016. Known for his anti-corruption efforts, he reported widespread corruption within the Egyptian government before being dismissed by President el-Sisi. Born in 1963, Geneina became a prominent opposition figure after his dismissal.
